Raison d’Etre Ballet Northeast’s annual Young Dancers’ Repertory performances are held in late spring as a season culminating celebration for its company members. These repertory programs also are intended to provide younger students of the Degnan Ballet Center with the opportunity to essay more demanding choreography than that encountered in the children’s roles in Ballet Northeast’s “Nutcracker” performances. The repertory experiences are an integral part of Ballet Northeast’s long range developmental program of preparing younger students of classical dance for eventual membership in Ballet Northeast’s performing company and, possibly, a professional career in this sublime art.
Scoil Rinee na Connamara Traditional Irish Dance Academy Ballet Northeast is pleased to welcome its guest artists, Scoil Rinee na Connamara. The school teaches from beginner to championship levels. These talented dancers will perform a variety of traditional Irish dances, delighting the audience with their classic rhythms and intricate and lively step sequences.
