Fine Arts FiestaMay,
2009
Band Shell, Public Square, Wilkes-Barre, PA
Date and time to be announced
Ballet Northeast is pleased to participate once again in the Fine Arts Fiesta, a springtime celebration of diversity in the performing and visual arts and the oldest festival of its kind in Pennsylvania. Founded in 1956 by Annette Evans and Alfred Groh as an annual celebration of the arts in the Wyoming Valley area, the first fiesta lasted three days and presented music, dance, drama, sketches and displays.
From the very first Fine Arts Fiesta when dramatic performances depicted historical scenes, the performing arts have been an important part of the Fiesta experience. Today the performing arts are as diverse as the arts shows and Ballet Northeast is proud to share its sublime art with the community.
The performance date, time and selection will be announced.
